Folded using the “Renzuru” technique.
The term Renzuru (連鶴, “conjoined cranes”) refers to a paper-folding technique whereby multiple cranes are folded from a single sheet of paper, employing a number of strategic cuts to form a mosaic of semi-detached smaller squares from the original large square paper.

Size: 18″ x 6″ x 1½”  –  46 x 15 x 4 cm

Materials:
Frame: Wood / Ink-painted Wood
Base: Tanzaku board (Japanese paper laminated to a hard board backing. Edged with a strip of gold paper.)
Cranes: Japanese Washi paper (printed / ink-painted / indigo-painted)
